Jets “Hard-Pressed” To Retain Dustin Keller, Shonn Greene & Mike DeVito

Jason La Canfora reports sources have informed him that New York Jets will be “hard-pressed” re-sign unrestricted free agents TE Dustin Keller, RB Shonn Greene and DT Mike DeVito.

This comes in La Canfora’s report that suggests that the Jets are exploring the idea of trading CB Darrelle Revis this offseason.

La Canfora adds that the Jets are expected to “make a push” to retain DeVito.

They’ll need to clear some cap space before they can even consider the idea of re-signing some of their soon-to-be free agents, which is where the idea of trading Revis comes in. He represents their best trade chip at this point in time and reportedly counts $11.5 million against their cap in 2013, according to Spotrac.com.

We have Keller (53) and DeVito (59) both listed in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
