Jets Have No Plans To Offer TE Dustin Keller A Contract Extension

According to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York, the Jets currently have no plans to offer TE Dustin Keller a contract extension at any point in the near future.

New York is obviously going with a wait see approach before committing to Keller. The fact that Jets are currently adjusting their offensive scheme across the board makes this seem like the right idea, especially if they do in fact get back to the “ground-and-pound” rushing attack.

Keller, 27, is set to make $3,052,500 for the upcoming season and will be a free agent at the end of the year.
