Jets Hosted LB Harvey Langi For Visit

According to Howard Balzer, the Jets hosted former Patriots LB Harvey Langi for a visit on Tuesday.

Back in August, it was reported that Langi was expected to miss 4-5 weeks due to an internal laceration, so he could be nearing full health.

Langi, 25, signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of BYU last year. He signed a three-year, $1.66 million contract and is set to make a base salary of $555,000 this season.

Unfortunately, Langi was placed on the non-football injury list with a back injury in October to end his 2017 season. New England released him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit coming out of the preseason.

In 2017, Langi appeared in one game and recorded one tackle for the Patriots.
