Jets Interested In Re-Signing Free Agent S LaRon Landry

According to Manish Mehta, the Jets have held discussions with free agent safety LaRon Landry‘s representatives about re-signing him for next season and beyond.

The Jets have little cap space to work with, so it seems likely that Landry will test the free agent market before returning to New York.

Landry, 28, has dealt with a series of injuries over the course of his career, but was able to play in all 16 games last season for the Jets, despite tearing his Achilles the year before. It’s been rumored that Landry is seeking an annual salary $6 million.

We have Landry listed as the No. 68 best available player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
