Jets Lose Third-Round Pick CB Dexter McDougle To A Torn ACL

The New York Jets announced that third-round pick CB Dexter McDougle sustained a torn ACL during Sunday’s practice.

The Jets group of cornerbacks isn’t all that deep, so this is clearly disappointing news for them moving forward. McDougle will have enough time to fully rehab his knee and be back for next year’s training camp.

During his four-years at Maryland, McDougle recorded 151 tackles, six interceptions, 19 passes defenses, one forced fumble and a recovery.
