Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the New York Jets have extended S Reggie Nelson a contract offer.
Mehta mentions that the Jets had a “productive” meeting with Nelson during his two-day visit. Nelson has reportedly received offers from the Bengals and a mystery team so far and is expected to take the rest of the weekend to mull over his options.
LaRon Landry will visit the Jets tomorrow so they’re doing their best to try to shore up the safety position for next season.
