Jets Officially Sign S Brandon Bryant

The New York Jets officially announced that they’ve signed S Brandon Bryant to a contract on Monday along with the release of WR Devin Smith.

Bryant was one of three Supplemental prospects who wound up going undrafted last year, but reports quickly surfaced that he was signing with the Jets.

At his Pro Day, Bryant measured in at 5-11/207. He posted 40-yard dash times of 4.45/4.52, a 4.23 Short Shuttle, 7.26/7.52 3-cones, 34-inch vertical, and a 10-3 broad jump.

Bryant recorded 157 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1.5 sacks, five interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, seven pass defenses and a forced fumble over three seasons at Mississippi State and 37 games played.
