Jets Part Ways With OC Brian Schottenheimer

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that New York Jets the OC Brian Schottenheimer has decided to “part ways” with the team.

Schottenheimer has come under plenty of scrutiny from fans and media members for the Jets poor offensive production in recent years. Someone had to take the fall for this season and it wasn’t going to be Rex Ryan.

Mortenesen adds that former Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano could be a option. You can also add Hue Jackson‘s name to that list as he’s currently looking for work as well and actually coached with Rex Ryan while in Baltimore together.
