Jets Plan To Stick With Mark Sanchez

Manish Mehta reports that New York Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum plans to keep Mark Sanchez as the team’s starting quarterback next season.

Tannenbaum mentioned that there will be “positional tweaks,” which likely means that the Jets will look to upgrade their o-line and skill positions.

The Jets have already said that they will retain OC Brian Schottenheimer despite mounting criticism.

Overall, the Jets offense has been underwhelming to say the least. Sanchez hasn’t grown as a quarterback and has to prove that he can be a difference maker on his own. It’s not surprising to see the Jets recommit to him but you can be sure that it will be a make or break year for him as New York could look to move in a different direction if he continues to struggle.
