According to Brian Costello, the Jets have promoted WR JoJo Natson from their practice squad and waived DL Ed Stinson with an injury designation.

Stinson, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2014. He spent three years in Arizona before he was waiving coming out of the preseason and later signed by the Jets.

New York elected to cut him loose back in October, then re-signed him to their active roster last week. He will revert to the team’s injured reserve once he clears waivers.

In 2017, Stinson has appeared in four games and recorded one tackle for the Jets.

Natson, 23, originally signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Akron back in May. Indianapolis, unfortunately, decided to waive him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.

He signed on with the Jets’ practice squad shortly after being waived.

During his four-year college career, Natson recorded 186 receptions for 1,868 yards receiving (10 YPC) and 15 touchdowns, to go along with 84 rushing attempts for 617 yards (7.3 YPC) and six touchdowns.
