Jets RB Matthew Tucker Reverts To I.R. After Clearing Waivers

The New York Jets officially placed RB Matthew Tucker on injured reserve Monday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.

Tucker, 25, signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of TCU back in May of 2013. He was on and off of their practice squad since joining the Eagles, but was waived from their non-football injury list back in February.

The Jets signed Tucker to a contract a few weeks ago, but was recently waived to make room for RB Lache Seastrunk.

In 2013, Tucker appeared in two games for the Eagles, but didn’t record a single statistic.
