The New York Jets announced the signing of CB Ellis Lankster on Friday.

This comes just a day after the team placed CB Leon McFadden on waivers.
Lankster, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Bills. He lasted just over a year with the Buffalo before he signed on with the Jets in 2011. Lankster was just recently cut loose by New York, so they are obviously more than familiar with what he brings to the table.
Last year, Lankster appeared in 15 games and totaled 18.
