Davis, 30, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bears back in 2008. He spent five years in Chicago before playing for multiple teams over the past three season including the Seahawks, Lions and Jets.
In 2015, Davis appeared in all 16 games for the Jets and recorded three receptions for 18 yards receiving and a touchdown. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 67 tight end out of 67 qualifying players.
