Jets Re-Sign TE Zach Sufeld To A One-Year Deal

The Jets have re-signed TE Zach Sufeld to a contract, according to his agent Jason Bernstein.

Manish Mehta reports that Sudfeld receives a one-year contract from the Jets.

Sudfeld, 26, missed the entire 2015 season after he suffered a torn ACL during the summer. He was in the one year remaining on his three-year, $1.485 million contract and was set to be a restricted free agent, but he didn’t receive a tender from New York.

In 2014, Sudfeld appeared in all 16 games for the Jets and caught five passes for 85 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
