Jets Targeting Former Ravens’ OC Cam Cameron To Run Their Offense

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the New York Jets plan to interview former Ravens’ OC Cam Cameron.

The Jets are currently searching for a replacement for Tony Sparano, who failed to deliver results after only one season. There’s some question as to whether or not Cameron is a good fit for the Jets current personnel.

It seems almost certain that the Jets will have Mark Sanchez on their roster next season and he hasn’t shown the ability to beat team with his arm, which is something that Cameron’s offense is accustom to relying on.

Marty Mornhinweg and Hue Jackson have also been tied to the job, so there’s at least a chance that one of them could walk away with the job.

The Jets will also interview Stanford OC Pep Hamilton for the job, according to CBSSports.com.
