Louisville S Calvin Pryor tells Bart Hubbach of the New York Post that he had an extensive meeting with the Jets and they appear to be really interested in him.
“They really seemed interested,” said Pryor.
The Jets appears to be holding extensive interviews with several draft prospects as others like USC WR Marquise Lee also mentioned that he got the feeling that the Jets were really interested in him as well.
Pryor is really an intriguing prospect given that he could go in a wide range of picks. Some believe the Rams, Bears, Ravens, Jets, Packers and Eagles could all be in play for him round one.
Last year, Pryor totaled 75 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles for the Cardinals’ defense.
We have the Bears taking Pryor at No. 14 overall in the first round of our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
