Jets Sign DL Christo Bilukidi & WR Anthony Kelly

The New York Jets announced Monday that they’ve signed WR Anthony Kelly and DL Christo Bilukidi to contracts.

  • The Jets also waived DL Julien Obioha with an injury designation and placed WR Chris King on the reserve/did not report list.
  • The Jets also activated RB Khiry Robinson off the active/PUP list.

Bilukidi, 26, was taken in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Raiders. He lasted just over a year in Oakland before he later caught on with the Bengals.

The Ravens wound up claiming him off of waivers from Cincinnati and re-signed him to a restricted free agent deal back in February of 2014, but he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts.

Bilukidi later caught on with the Ravens and eventually secured a two-year extension from Baltimore before he was waived in October of last year. The Redskins signed him to a future/reserve contract only to waive him shortly after this year’s NFL draft.

In 2014, Bilukidi appeared in four games for the Ravens and recorded three tackles and no sacks.
