Jets Sign Fourth-Round Pick WR Jalen Saunders

The New York Jets announced the signing of fourth-round pick WR Jalen Saunders to a four-year contract on Friday.

Saunders marks the ninth draft pick that the Jets have signed this week, which means they only have three remaining rookies to get under contract.

Saunders played two years at Fresno State before transferring to Oklahoma in 2012. Over the course of his college career, Saunders totaled 203 receptions for 3,085 yards receiving and 28 total touchdowns.

New York’s receiving corps has been upgraded this offseason with three draft picks and a few free agent signings including Eric Decker and Jacoby Ford, so there should be plenty of competition this summer.
