The New York Jets announced that they’ve signed OT Donald Hawkins to their practice squad on Wednesday.
The Jets’ practice squad now consists of:
- S Ronald Martin
- G Craig Watts
- LB Freddie Bishop
- CB Bryson Keeton
- S Doug Middleton
- RB Brandon Wilds
- DT Brandin Bryant
- OLB Victor Ochi
- WR Mario Alford
- OT Donald Hawkins
Hawkins, 24, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Texas back in May of last year. He was unable to make the team’s final 53-man roster, but was later claimed the Browns.
Hawkins had brief stints with the Browns, Cowboys and 49ers before signing a future’s deal with the Panthers back in January. He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was waived last week.
In 2016, Hawkins has been active for six games.
