Jets Sign RB Matthew Tucker, Waive RB Terry Williams

The New York Jets announced Thursday that they signed RB Matthew Tucker and placed RB Terry Williams on waivers.

The Jets just signed Williams to a contract on Wednesday, so it’s surprising to see them move on after just a matter of hours.

Tucker, 25, signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of TCU back in May of 2013. He was on and off of their practice squad since joining the Eagles, but was waived from their non-football injury list back in February.

In 2013, Tucker appeared in two games for the Eagles, but didn’t record a single statistic.
