The New York Jets have announced that they have signed with S Dawan Landry.
Landry, 30, actually played for the Jets just a few years ago before he signed a five-year, $27.5 million contract with the Jaguars.
The Jets brought Landry in for a visit a few weeks ago, so it’s not surprising to see them reach an agreement, especially when you consider that safety was one of their biggest needs.
Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 69 best qualifying safety last season. He really struggled in pass coverage, but was at least an above average option in run defense.
