The Jets announced the signing of sixth-round selection WR Quincy Enunwa to a four-year contract on Thursday.
Enunwa is coming off of a record-breaking season for the Nebraska Cornhuskers in which he totaled 51 receptions for 753 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns.
He posted a very solid forty time of 4.45 at this year’s Scouting Combine and offers decent size at 6-foot-2.
The Jets needed to bolster their receiving corps this offseason, so Enunwa finds himself in one of the more ideal situations to crack the 53-man roster heading into the 2014 season.
However, he’ll still be competing with a number of receivers including: David Nelson, Jalen Saunders, Shaq Evans, Jacoby Ford, Clyde Gates and Greg Salas.
