The New York Jets announced Thursday that they’ve signed TE Brian Parker to a contract.
Parker, 24, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Albany back in 2015. He was unable to make the 53-man roster last year but was later claimed off of waivers by the Chiefs.
Parker was waived with a failed physical designation at the start of last season.
In 2015, Parker appeared in nine games for the Chiefs and recorded one reception for six yards receiving.
