The Jets’ practice squad now consists of:

  5. CB Terrell Sinkfield
  6. OL Geoff Gray

Sterling, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2015. He was waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the team’s practice squad, but he managed to make the 53-man roster last year.

In 2016, Sterling appeared in 10 games for the Jaguars and caught 12 passes for 110 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
