Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the Jets have signed WR Austin Hill to a contract on Tuesday.
The Jets brought in some receivers for workouts on Monday including Greg Little, which is interesting considering the number of players at the position currently on their depth chart.
Hill, 24, wound up signing on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of following this year’s draft. However, he failed a phyiscal with the team.
The Raiders later signed to a contract, but he was placed on waivers just a few weeks later.
During his three years at Arizona, Hill caught 151 passes for 2,310 yards receiving and 17 touchdowns.
