Jets Sign WR Kyle Williams, Waive WR Quenton Bundrage

The New York Jets announced Friday that they’ve signed WR Kyle Williams to a contract an placed WR Quenton Bundrage on waivers.

Williams, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the 49ers back in 2010. He spent three years in San Franscisco before catching on with the Chiefs in 2013.

The Broncos later signed him to a future/reserve contract, but he unfortunately suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in August of last year.

In 2013, Williams appeared in 10 games and recorded 12 receptions for 113 yards receiving and no touchdowns to go along with two carries for 23 yards rushing. Williams also contributed 134 kick return yards and another 61 punt return yards that season.

Bundrage, 24, wound up signing on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa State shortly after this year’s draft.

During his college career at Iowa State, Bundrage recorded 109 receptions for 1,456 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns.
