Jets Sign WR T.J. Graham, Cut WR Jalen Saunders

The New York Jets announced the signing of former Bills WR T.J. Graham on Monday, as well as the release of WR Jalen Saunders.

Graham, 25, worked out for the Jets last week, but was not signed to a contract during his visit.

He is a former third-round pick of the Bills back in 2012. However, he lasted just two years with the team before Buffalo placed him on waivers about a month ago as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players. The Tennessee Titans later claimed him off of waivers, but he was once again cut a few days ago to make room for TE Chase Coffman.

Last year, he appeared in all 16 games for the Bills and caught 23 passes for 361 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

Saunders, 21, was taken in the fourth-round of the this year’s NFL draft. He appeared in three games for the Jets and has 26 punt-return yards and a fumble. The Jets already paid Saunders a bonus of $481,000.

We’ll have to see if he’s claimed off of waivers in the coming days or ends up on the team’s practice squad.
