Jets Sign WR Tim White To Futures Contract

The New York Jets officially signed WR Tim White to a futures contract for the 2019 season on Wednesday.

As of now, the Jets have signed 13 players to futures deals including:

  1. OT Dieugot Joseph
  2. C Jon Toth
  3. WR DeAngelo Yancey
  4. DE Charles Tapper
  5. DB Tevaughn Campbell
  6. WR Stacy Coley
  7. LB Harvey Langi
  8. WR Tim White

Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.

White, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State back in 2017. He was placed on injured reserve coming out of the preseason.

The Ravens elected to waive White at the start of the 2018 regular season and he was on and off of their roster.

In 2018, White appeared in three games for the Ravens and caught one pass for 14 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also contributed 210 total kick and punt return yards.
