Jets Signing CB Dexter McDougle To Practice Squad, Expected To Add Victor Ochi When Healthy

Doug Kyed of NESN reports that the Jets are signing CB Dexter McDougle to their practice squad after he cleared waivers on Monday.

Meanwhile, Brian Costello reports that the Jets are also expected to sign OLB Victor Ochi (shoulder) to their taxi squad once he’s healthy.

The Jets practice squad currently consists of:

  1. WR Myles White
  2. G Craig Watts
  3. DL Claude Pelon
  4. LB Freddie Bishop
  5. CB Bryson Keeton
  6. S Doug Middleton

McDougle, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Jets back in 2014. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2,863,876 contract when the Jets elected to cut him loose this past weekend.

In 2015, McDougle appeared in 14 games for the Jets and recorded six tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense.
