Jets To Start Braylon Edwards Against Tennessee?

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets may end up starting recently acquired WR Braylon Edwards against the Titans.

“Tells you a little bit about where this wide receiver corps is right now,” said Schefter.

Schefter adds that the situation and overall field position will likely impact whether or not Edwards starts, but it seems like they’re willing to get him involved right away, despite the fact that he’s still dealing with a hamstring injury to some degree.

Edwards is only 29 and spent time with the team a few years ago, but it’s just hard to assume that he’ll be able to be an impact player for them. There’s always a chance, but I guess we’ll just have to see how things go.
