Jets Tried Out WRs LaRon Byrd & Damarr Aultman

The New York Jets brought in receivers LaRon Byrd and Damarr Aultman for tryouts in recent days, according to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.

Byrd, 24, signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2012. He lasted just a few months in Arizona before the team ultimately waived him.

Since then, Byrd has played for the Cowboys, Browns, Dolphins and most recently for the Falcons.

He, unfortunately, suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in early December that led to him being placed on the injured reserve list with a practice squad designation.

Byrd appeared in one game last season.

Aultman, 23, originally signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Maine back in May. He was unable to make the 53-man roster, but was added to the team’s practice squad a few weeks into the season.
