Jets Trying To Trade Former First-Round CB Dee Milliner

Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com reports that the Jets have been trying to trade former first-round CB Dee Milliner.

  • Breer says to “stay tuned” in regards to a potential deal involving Milliner.

Milliner, 24, was taken with the No. 9 overall pick back in 2013. He’s entering the final year of his four-year, $12.66 million rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $675,000 for the 2016 season.

The Jets declined to pick up his fifth-year option back in May that would have run the Jets $11.9 million in 2017.

In 2015, Milliner appeared in five games for the Jets, but recorded just a single tackle and no interceptions.
