Jets Unwilling To Name Starting QB For Week 14

Jets head coach Rex Ryan told reporters that he is not prepared to name the team’s starting quarterback for Week 14 at this point in time.

“I’m not ready to say. I want to talk to everybody to make sure I get a sense that I’m making right decision.” Ryan said, via Manish Mehta.

Ryan and the Jets have quite the conundrum on their hands seeing as Greg McElroy stepped in and actually lead them on a scoring drive that resulted in McElroy’s first touchdown of his career. Mark Sanchez put together another horrible outing that resulted in only 97 yards passing and 3 interceptions.

Ryan added that Tim Tebow has been medically cleared and will be in consideration for the job.

It’s hard to say that anyone of these guys deserve the start, but the Jets are the ones that put themselves in this situation with their offseason roster moves. The good news is that they get the Jacksonville Jaguars next weekend.
