Rich Cimini reports that the New York Jets have placed DE Bronson Kaufusi on waivers Friday to make room for DE Tarell Basham, who was claimed off of waivers from the Colts.
Kaufusi, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Ravens back in 2016. He dealt with injuries in his first two years in Baltimore before they elected to waive him coming out of the preseason a few months ago.
The Jets later signed Kaufusi to their practice squad and called him up soon after.
In 2017, Kaufusi appeared in three games for the Jets and recorded five tackles and no sacks.
