Jets Waive Four Players

The New York Jets officially waived four players on Friday including WR Damore’ea Stringfellow, WR JoJo Natson, OT Korren Kirven and P Ben Turk.

Stringfellow, 23, originally signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss. Miami waived him last week as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.

The Jets claimed him off waivers from the Dolphins but waived him a few days later. Stringfellow later signed on to the Jets’ practice squad and returned to New York on a futures cotnract this past January.

During his three-year college career, Stringfellow recorded 102 receptions for 1,478 yards receiving (14.5 YPC) and 12 touchdowns.
