Rose, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Texans back in 2016. After a brief stint with the 49ers, Rose signed on with the Redskins during the 2017 season.
Washington waived him after two months and he was later claimed by the Chargers and finished out the year in Los Angeles. The Chargers waived him a few weeks ago and he was claimed off of waivers by the Jets.
In 2017, Rose appeared in 10 games and converted 11 of 14 field goal attempts (78.6 percent) to go along with 23 of 26 extra point tries and 32 touchbacks.
