The New York Jets announced Tuesday that they’ve waived WR Myles White from their practice squad.
The Jets’ practice squad now consists of:
- S Ronald Martin
- G Craig Watts
- LB Freddie Bishop
- CB Bryson Keeton
- S Doug Middleton
- CB Dexter McDougle
- RB Brandon Wilds
- DT Brandin Bryant
- OT Jesse Davis
White, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech back in 2013. He spent a good amount of time on the Packers’ practice squad, but managed to make the 53-man roster last year.
However, White was unfortunately waived to make room for James Jones. He wasn’t out of a job for long, as the Giants signed him to their practice squad just a few days later.
The Giants brought White back on an exclusive rights deal back in April but he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. He’s been on and off of the Jets’ practice squad since the start of the season.
In 2015, White appeared in 12 games for the Giants and recorded seven receptions for 88 yards receiving and a touchdown.
