Jets Waive WR Titus Davis From Reserve/Left Squad List

The New York Jets officially waived WR Titus Davis from the reserve/left squad list on Thursday.

The Jets previously received a roster exemption for Davis, who has left during the team’s training camp for an undisclosed reason. New York later placed him on the reserve/left squad list.

Davis, 23, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan back in May. He was unfortunately among their early roster cuts, but he later caught on with the Jets for a brief period of time before later signing on to the Bills’ practice squad.

Buffalo cut him loose a few months ago before he later returned to the Jets’ practice squad in November. The Jets elected to bring Davis back on a future/reserve contract in January.

Davis has yet to appear in an NFL game.
