Jets Worked Out CFL WR Quincy McDuffie

The New York Jets brought in WR Quincy McDuffie of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers for a workout on Friday, according to his agent Brett Tessler.

This is the time of year where teams begin to take a look at potential candidates to sign to future/reserve contracts after the season.

McDuffie, 26, wound up signing on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of UCF back in 2013. He was, unfortunately, waived with an injury designation during the preseason and was later cut loose at the start of the 2013 regular season.

During his three years in the CFL, McDuffie has caught 25 passes for 249 yards receiving and a touchdown but his main contributions have come as a kick return where he totaled 341 punt return yards and 1,212 kick return yards and three touchdowns.
