Jets Worked Out Former Titans RB/WR Dexter McCluster

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Jets hosted former Titans RB/WR Dexter McCluster for a workout on Friday.

This is the first reported interest in McCluster since he became available last week.

McCluster, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2010. He spent four years in Kansas City before signing a three-year, $9 million contract with the Titans.  that includes $4.5 million guaranteed. He was set to make a base salary of $2.275 million in 2016.

He was in the final year of his contract and set to make a base salary of $2.275 million in 2016.

In 2015, McCluster ended with him appearing in 11 games and rushing for 247 yards on 55 carries (4.5 YPC) to go along with 31 receptions for 260 yards receiving and two total touchdowns. McCluster also contributed 502 total return yards.
