Jets Worked Out LB Curt Maggitt

According to Ian Rapoport, the Jets brought in free agent LB Curt Maggitt for a workout on Friday.

This comes just a few days after the Jets lost LB Dylan Donahue for the season, so they’re clearly taking a look at some potential replacements.

Maggitt, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee back in 2016. He was set to make base salaries of $540,000 and $630,000 over the next two years of the contract when the Colts waived him with an injury designation this past May and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.

The Colts would waive him with an injury settlement soon after.

In 2016, Maggitt appeared in eight games for the Colts and recorded seven tackles and no sacks.
