Jets Worked Out Veteran DL Brandon Deaderick

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Jets worked out veteran DL Brandon Deaderick on Wednesday.

Deaderick, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Patriots back in 2010. He spent close to three years with the team before be was waived and later claimed by the Jaguars. New Orleans signed Deaderick to a one-year contract in June of last year.

In 2014, Deaderick appeared in 13 games for the Saints and recorded eight tackles. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 77 defensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players.
