Jets Worked Out Veteran FB Henry Hynoski

According to Rand Getlin, the Jets worked out veteran FB Henry Hynoski on Tuesday.

The Patriots worked out Hynoski back in September, but decided to not offer him a contract.

Hynoski, 26, spent four seasons with the Giants, but was released from the team on Sept. 5.  In 2014, he appeared in all 16 games as the team’s lead blocking fullback.

Hynoski was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 2 overall fullback last year, which included a solid rating as a run-blocker. However, Hynoski was seldom used as a runner, accumulating just seven carries for 13 yards and was never targeted in the passing game.

We will provide more information regarding Hynoski and the Jets as the news becomes available.
