Jets Worked Out WR Andrew Turzilli

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Jets brought in free agent WR Andrew Turzilli for a workout in recent days.

Turzilli just finished serving his four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drugs policy.

Turzilli, 24, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers back in May of last year. He was waived at the start of the season, but later signed on to the 49ers’ practice squad.

Tennessee later brought him back when they signed him off of the 49ers’ taxi squad in November. However, he was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

In 2015, Turzilli appeared in three games and recorded two receptions for 25 yards receiving and no touchdowns for the Titans.
