The New York Jets brought in WR Dres Anderson for a workout on Thursday.
This is the second visit for Anderson, who recently met with the Patriots but did not receive an offer from them.
Anderson, 24, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Utah back in May of last year. He was in the second year of his three-year, $1.581 million contract and set to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season when he was waived at the start of the regular season.
The 49ers re-signed Anderson to their practice squad before cutting him loose a few days ago.
Anderson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
