Last week, Ian Rapoport reported that Stewart was facing a two-game suspension, so it appears this decision form the NFL was expected.

Stewart, 24, is a former third-round pick of Jets back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3.25 million contract and set to make base salaries of $592,500 and $688,750 over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Stewart appeared in 15 games for the Jets and caught just six passes for 82 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also rushed for 27 yards and contributed 173 kick return yards on special teams.
