Jimmy Graham Will Not Make The Trip To Tampa Bay

Pro Football Talk reports that a league source has informed them that Saints TE Jimmy Graham will not make the trip with the rest of the team to Tampa Bay for their Week 7 matchup against the Buccaneers.

Graham has been dealing with an ankle injury in recent weeks, so giving him the week off could allow him to heal in time for their Week 8 matchup against the Broncos.

Mike Triplett tweets that Saints TE Jimmy Graham is listed as questionable for Week 7’s game against the Buccaneers.

Triplett adds that Graham could be limited even if he does suit up this weekend.

Graham is dealing with an ankle injury, and even though the team believes he’s a very tough player, it’s hard to imagine him being his usual self on Sunday. We’ll have updates leading up to the start of the Sunday’s games.

Mike Triplett reports that Saints TE Jimmy Graham did not practice on Wednesday.

Interim head coach Aaron Kromer mentioned that Graham “(looked) good” while working on the sidelines, so this figures to be a topic worth monitoring in the coming days if you happen to own him in fantasy leagues, or just care about the Saints.

According to Pro Football Talk‘s Mike Florio, source with knowledge of the situation has informed him that Saints TE Jimmy Graham will be available for Week 7’s game against the Buccaneers.

There was some speculation that Graham could be out for an extended period of time because of the ankle injury that he’s currently dealing with. Graham played through the injury a few weeks ago and has had the bye week to recover, but today’s practice will give us an idea of how much playing he could see this weekend.
