Ian Rapoport reports that Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel is visiting with the Texans on Monday.
Manziel met with the Browns over the weekend and has previously visited with the Jaguars, Patriots, Buccaneers and Vikings.
This will be Manziel’s second meeting with Houston as he previously visited with them early last week.
Peter King reported Monday morning that the Texans are expected to target a safer option at No. 1 overall and added that the team prefers Buffalo OLB Khalil Mack to South Carolina DE Jadeveon Clowney.
It’s hard to imagine Manziel being available to them at No. 33 overall, so there is a chance they would have to trade back into the first-round in order to select him and another player at the top of the draft.
We have Manziel going for the Vikings at No. 8 overall in our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
