Jon Gruden Coaching The Rams Next Season?

Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union Tribune reports ESPN analyst Jon Gruden has made the decision to return to the sidelines.

Acee adds that St Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke could be looking to gut the franchise and start over by adding both John Gruden and Chargers GM A.J. Smith. Obviously that idea would require the Chargers to fire Smith but reports continue to suggest that the Chargers will be making changes of their own in the coming weeks.

SI.com’s Peter King noted that the Rams could be the best available position during the off season considering that they have Sam Bradford, a top-five draft pick and the most cap room in the NFL.

If Gruden is available he’ll have plenty of options considering that the Dolphins, Colts, Chiefs, Chargers and Jaguars could all have vacancies to fill in the coming weeks
