Just 2 Rookies Remain Unsigned From The 2015 Draft Class

With the Titans addition of first-round QB Marcus Mariota, 254 of the 256 2015 NFL draft picks have signed their rookie contracts, leaving just two unsigned rookies.

As of now, the final two draft picks who have yet to sign their rookie contracts include:

  • Colts third-round pick CB D’Joun Smith. (#65 overall)
  • Colts third-round pick DE Henry Anderson. (#93 overall)

With the Colts’ training camp starting on Aug. 1, there is a high likelihood that Indianapolis gets both players under contract before players report.

Both being third-round draft picks, it is reasonable to believe that the Colts hope to use both rookies in some capacity. In fact, reports surfaced after the draft that the team plans to use Smith in the nickel, or as the No. 4 cornerback on the depth chart, per Kevin Bowen of the Colts’ official site.

We’ll have more updates regarding the remaining unsigned rookies as the news is available.
